E-Government ComplianceIt is both the intent and the commitment of the Ministry of Justice to comply with the States Services Commission Web Guidelines. The Ministry believes that all web users requiring access to the Ministry's websites and online services should have the best possible experience regardless of bandwidth and browser. The Ministry of Justice has embarked on a site upgrade process to ensure the guidelines are met. All public sites, justice.govt.nz, elections.org.nz, fines.govt.nz, ots.govt.nz, and waitangi-tribunal.govt.nz have been upgraded or are in the process of being upgraded to meet the guidelines, good web practice and accessibility in general. How to obtain content that is only in Adobe PDF, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint in this site. Statement of PositionThe Ministry of Justice has been audited by E-GovWatch for compliance with the Web Guidelines Ver 2.1 compliance documentation. At this time the Ministry's website complies with most relevant requirements and is working towards compliance with all requirements. All new content for the Ministry's website complies with the Web Guidelines Ver 2.1 compliance documentation. The conversion of previously existing content is dependent on the determination of 'most used' content. |
