Maori Land Court

The Maori Land Court and Maori Appellate Courts are constituted under the Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993 and have jurisdiction to hear matters relating to Maori land.

The Maori Land Court is administered by the Ministry of Justice. Legislative matters are dealt with by the Minister of Maori Affairs.
