How to lodge a claim with the Accident Compensation Appeal Authority.

If you are unhappy about a decision by ACC's Disputes Resolution Services regarding your ACC claim, and your claim comes under the repealed Accident Compensation Act 1982, you can lodge an appeal with the Accident Compensation Appeal Authority.

To lodge an appeal, you need to complete a notice of appeal form and send it to us within one month of the date you were notified of ACC's decision. You need to include a copy of the decision made under the repealed Accident Compensation Act 1982, that you would like to appeal against, with your notice of appeal form.
