How to apply to the Customs Appeal Authority at the Ministry of Justice.
If you receive notice of a Customs Service ruling you are not satisfied with, you can file an appeal with the Customs Appeal Authority.
Your appeal needs to be filed within 20 working days from the date you receive the notice. If you need more time to prepare, you must write to us within the original 20 working days and request an extension, explaining why you need the extra time.
To file an appeal, complete the Notice of Appeal form below. Send or deliver the form, and the $408.89 appeal fee, to the Customs Appeal Authority. Please make cheques payable to the Ministry of Justice. Do not send cash.
