Hearing Process
Overview of the hearing process of the Immigration Advisers Complaints and Disciplinary Tribunal.
The hearing
Matters before the Immigration Advisers Complaints and Disciplinary Tribunal are heard 'on the papers'. This means the Tribunal considers the case on the basis of written submissions and evidence, without the appearance of the parties.
Sometimes, if the Tribunal thinks it is required, it may request further information or request a person to appear in person to make a statement in relation to the complaint.
The decision
The Tribunal will issue a written decision which will include reasons for the decision.
Appeals
If you are unhappy with the decision, you can appeal to the District Court.
