The fourth issue of the Resolution newsletter marks the three-year anniversary of the Weathertight Homes Tribunal. Mention is made to the recent adverse publicity in relation to the appeal rates against Tribunal determinations, followed by the Government's response to the leaky homes issue.  This issue also features the Tribunal's intention to standardise its processes for claims managed in Wellington and Auckland, and the introduction of the Tribunal's new Code of Conduct for expert witnesses.

The third issue of the Resolution newsletter marks the two-year anniversary of the Weathertight Homes Tribunal, as well as the introduction of the Weathertight Homes Resolution Services Act 2006. Mention is made to the Government's response to the leaky homes issue, the Tribunal's statistics over the two years, the launch of the new Chair's Directions, an issue regarding experts' evidence and briefs, and the public seminars held to assist parties prepare and present their claim or defence for a Tribunal proceeding.

This second issue of the Tribunal's newsletter provides an update of the work of the Tribunal as it continues to improve the services it offers. This issue highlights the new Chair's Directions for Multi-Unit Claims, improved changes to the website, new members and staff, public seminars as well as information regarding the filing of expert or technical evidential bases of a claim.

In this first issue of the Tribunal's newsletter entitled "Resolution" the Chair provides a brief update of new developments and the progress of the Tribunal's work. Highlights include the opening of the new Wellington premises, a new application form, and the amendment to the Weathertight Homes Resolution Services Act 2006 providing claimants with the ability to claim for general damages.
